Apartment Living Choices Blossom on Kawana Island
In late 2005 the RGD Property Group launched two new apartment
projects which will ensure that Kawana Island boasts the best
variety of apartment living options in one central location
on the Sunshine Coast.
The 33Terraces on Grand residential project and the 48 Island
Quays apartments together with the remaining St Kitts apartments
provides purchases with a wide range of living options to accommodate

In late December, RGD and Stockland also opened a new joint
waterfront sales office which is expected to generate over $120
million of land, villa and waterfront apartment sales on Kawana
Island over the next four to five years.
The RGD Property Groups interests on Kawana Island include
the 56 Leeward apartments (completely sold) as well as the 86
St Kitts apartments (over 70% sold). The multi award winning
Montegos waterfront restaurant and gourmet deli has been
operation for over two years and continues to receive rave reviews
for its food, service and ambience.
RGD Director Tony Long said the two new apartment projects
together with a new sales office was a reflection of the confidence
the developer has in the future of Kawana Island.

The popularity of the St Kitts apartments was vindicated during
2005 when they were awarded the HIA Sunshine Coast apartment
project of the year.
We had a flurry of sales at St Kitts late last year and
we expect the remainder to sell soon as there are very few,
if any, absolute waterfront apartments on the Sunshine Coast
which boast the same large size, high quality fixtures and fittings,
a marina berth and resident facilities all conveniently located
away from the Coasts busy tourist precincts, he
said.
Mr Long said the Island Quays apartments were another opportunity
for residents to enjoy all that Kawana Island has to offer.
Designed by leading Sunshine Coast architect Frank Raadschelders,
Island Quays will consist 48 two and three bedroom waterfront
and parkland facing apartments at an average size of 160m2.
Island Quays presents an outstanding opportunity to purchase
within Kawana Islands exclusive waterfront precinct from
just $430,000. Residents also have access to their own communal
pool, spa and a full size tennis court in a magnificently landscaped
setting, he said.
Mr Long said settlement for the Island Quays was expected in
mid 2007 and an initial deposit of 10% was required to secure
an apartment.
Terraces on Grand features 33 architectural designed two and
three level homes at an average size of over 200m2. Each terrace
contains three bedrooms and a double garage.
Mr Long said Terraces on Grand was a very unique project for
the Sunshine Coast.

Stage One of Terraces on Grand, including two display apartments
will be completed in early 2006.
In late 2005, RGD also completed construction of the $12 million
Sunshine Coast Surgical and Specialist Centre which is located
on the banks of Lake Kawana.
This three level private hospital will house a variety of specialist
medical practitioners, a day surgery, nine bedrooms for overnight
or longer stay as well as a bistro/brassiere. The hospital and
the extensive range of medical specialist services are expected
to be operational by June 2006.
