Property Sales on The Bodrum Peninsular, Turkey
We understand that buying a holiday home, or a home overseas,
is a major decision and we appreciate that it requires honest
and expert assistance. We are committed to providing full support
throughout the entire process and thereafter.
With many years experience in the housing market in the UK
and Europe we understand that buying a property overseas can
be confusing - the system is different, the currency confusing
and the language difficult!! Stories abound of problems caused
by not buying through a recognised estate agency. However whilst
many stories have their foundations in truth in actual fact
the process is far simpler than in the UK - see our Buyer's
Guide for more information.
In addition to helping you through the process of purchasing
we can also give help in shopping for furniture and furnishings,
connecting utilities in your name and villa management, etc.
We can also help with solicitors, property surveys and property
repairs if required. In fact we will be here for you long after
you have decided to buy.
Property prices in Turkey are rising although, in comparison
to other parts of the world, Turkey offers amazing value for

Holiday Home, Retirement Homes and Investments
Turkey is a country full of history, ancient monuments and natural
beauty. Its land has been the cradle to the oldest of civilizations
and the land where East meets West. Turkey is surrounded by
sea and covers a vast expanse offering differing climates and
differing landscapes.
Turkey is a democratic Republic. Whilst 99% of the population
are Muslim the secular state offers religious freedom to all
who live there. The State is fair to all residents reglardless
of their religion, socal background and culture.
Life in Turkey is easygoing and the cost of lving is low. The
Turkish people are very friendly and in most of the tourist
areas English is widely spoken. In these areas there are a multitude
of restaurants serving local food at reasonable prices and beer,
good wines and local drinks are relatively inexpensive. Tap
water should not be used for drinking but bottled water is cheap
and easily available.
Turkish time is two hours ahead of English time and average
flights from the UK during the summer season are available from
most UK airports and take approximately 3.5 hours to Bodrum.
All British passport holders are required to obtain entry Visas
to Turkey and can be obtained for about £10 at Turkish
ports of entry and last for 3 months.
With glorious sunshine, over 150 bays and beaches and western-style
shopping, Turkey offers everything and more for tourist and
residents alike.
The British are only just realising that Turkey is an easy and
cheap place to buy property and it has been tipped as No 2 Hotspot
Area. In the last year prices have increased by 25% and will
continue to rise as Turkey heads for entry into the EU. Over
4000 familes have relocated to Turkey and enjoy a more laid
back lifestyle and affordable living.
Construction is buoyant throughout the whole of the Bodrum
Peninsula which enjoys the best climate with low humidity
throughout the whole of Turkey. As more people become
aware that Turkey has rules that govern the preservation of
green areas and restriction on any high rise building and that
all construction work ceases during the months of May to October,
the popularity of the Bodrum Peninsula will continue to rise.
By comparison with Europe it is possible for most UK residents
to afford their own Place in the Sun.
Utilities are much lower than the UK and there are no property
taxes every year such as the rating system in the UK. Water
and electricity are a fraction of the costs you would pay at
home. The transportation system is mainly shared taxi type buses
which are frequent and inexpensive.
